Allow Ziclon in Google Workspace

For Google Workspace administrators: mark Ziclon as a trusted app so your team can sign in.

Who needs this

Organisations whose Google Workspace limits third-party apps. A super administrator does this once for the whole domain or for chosen groups.

Mark Ziclon as trusted

  1. Open the Google Admin console: Security, API controls, Manage third-party app access (https://admin.google.com/ac/owl/list?tab=configuredApps).
  2. Click Configure new app (or Add app), then OAuth App Name Or Client ID.
  3. Search for Ziclon with the client ID shown in Ziclon under Connect a mailbox, Google, Sign in with Google (click Copy next to it).
  4. Select Ziclon, choose the organisational units or groups it applies to, and click Continue.
  5. Set access to Trusted and click Configure.
  6. Ask your team to click Sign in with Google in Ziclon again.

Good to know

  • Trusted apps can use Gmail for the people you choose. You can change or remove this on the same page.
  • Changes can take a few minutes, and sometimes up to an hour, to apply.
